As some advice about rhetoric, your first paragraph in which you polarize Berkeley politics along a certain line is, basically, crap.  It&#039;s not central to your point and it&#039;s factually wrong.  Weakens the whole piece.
The rest, where what I gather is your experience comes to mind in analyzing the hiring of these consultants - is great, interesting stuff.
